Emerging in the early 20th century, centered around expressing the unconscious mind and unlocking the hidden realms of imagination. It is characterized by bizarre, dream-like scenes that defy logic and embrace the irrational. Drawing on the influence of Sigmund Freud’s theories on the subconscious, surrealist artists sought to transcend the limitations of everyday reality by combining unexpected elements, such as dream imagery, distorted figures, and fantastical landscapes.
Dreamscapes delves into the subconscious, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. This project brings the bizarre, the mysterious, and the fantastical to life through vivid imagery, unexpected juxtapositions, and symbolic landscapes. By tapping into the depths of human emotion and thought, each piece invites viewers to explore a world where the impossible becomes possible, and the mind's wildest dreams take form.
